On November 29 and 30, 2019, Cotonou hosted the African Digital Story, which was held at the Golden Tulip Hotel le Diplomate on the theme: How does the Digital continues to revolutionize Africa ?
This event was organized by the Publicis Group, represented in Africa by AG Partners Africa, in partnership with Kinshasa Digital, a digital development agency based in Kinshasa and IDEEO Consulting, a Marketing and Communication Consultancy. The African Digital Story is a bilingual event dedicated to the storytelling of "Digital Africa", during which were exposed the major achievements, innovations, major reforms, ambitions and perspectives of Africa over the next 20 years. Benin gathered during 2 days, hundreds of entrepreneurs, large companies, government representatives, startupers and academics, who came to take ownership of the future.
The show connected Tech Leaders and decision-makers from Benin, Togo, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Burkina-Faso, Ghana, Nigeria, Djibouti and Rwanda to accelerate their digital transformation. The opening ceremony was held on Friday, November 29th at 9:00 am, alongside the Minister of Digital and Digitalization of Benin and imminent personalities and partners of renown such as ADN, the Advisor to the President of the DRC and the Prime Minister of Congo, Facebook, Vivatechnology, Dailymotion, Canal+, Forbes Afrique and many others.
